SubRosa 2023 Grampians Viognier

SubRosa 2023 Grampians Viognier

SubRosa Grampians Viognier

Grampians, Victoria

$65

Beautiful aromas of stone fruit. Medium bodied and rich with nice acidity. 135 Dozen. Vegan.

  • A complex, fuller-style viognier still in evolution mode. The role of French oak is apparent, and while it helps define and elevate the richness of flavour, this wine is still a way off being its best. Grilled nuts, toasty oak, apricot kernel, stone fruits and creamy spices congregate. The palate is deeply fleshy, textural and long. Give it time for the synergy to happen. 94 pts, Jeni Port, Halliday Wine Companion.

Viognier 2023

Nancy's Wine Pairing Notes

Viognier is a very versatile wine. It can be paired with seafood, pork, poultry and even lamb due to it's complexity and texture. Our Viognier is made to age. Drink now and enjoy a vibrant textural white wine or cellar for 5-12 years for tertiary flavours. Check out our guide to Viognier pairing article for more.

Due to grape quality we did not make Viognier in 2024 and 2025. If we make Viognier in 2026 our next release will be in 2027.
