Adam's Winemaking Notes

What was Vintage 2022 like?
It was a cool vintage in the Grampians. The mild growing conditions and long ripening period mean the grapes have excellent natural balance. Our 2022 Shiraz captures the pepper, spice, structure and savoury detail that make Grampians Shiraz so distinctive.

Why do you like making wine in the Grampians?
I think the Grampians is the ideal place to make wines I love. Wine made from Grampians grapes are full of flavour, drinkable early but able to last the distance.

What will you enjoy with our 2022 Shiraz?
Scotch steak on the BBQ with scalloped potatoes and a broccoli and chickpea salad Nancy makes.

How long would you cellar this wine?
It's drinking nicely now, but it will only get better with some bottle age. I'd like to see it in 2030-35, I think it'll evolve beautifully.
