SubRosa 2021 Viognier
Withwine – bottle shot to left, text to right.
Text – Name, price, add to cart button (not Buy It or Purchase and make it smaller not like Leewin), Pyrenees, Victoria (central victoria?), single statement about taste (eg The luscious palate is brimming with both aniseed and satsuma plum flavours), Tasting Notes (expanded if possible as default), Reviews/Awards (expanded or not – Leewin not expanded, Chapel Hill is), Wine Information (expander box), Recommended Food Pairing (or call it something more casual like Goes Great With – Henschke has this as a drop down box)
Beautiful drop. Loads of butter on the nose with nice mineral acidity with pear walnut and some lime on the palette. Limited run 120 case after 15months in French oak.
Cloudy natural wine style, toast, stone fruit, orange blossom, butter, honeycomb. Long finish and spicy palate, nicely balanced alcohol considering its about 14%.
A good example of Aussie cool climate Viognier. Drinkable now but better with a little time.
